Diversion as Eamont Bridge will be closed for the forseeable future

Following the December floods, Eamont Bridge was flooded and substantial damage to the bridge means the diversion will be in place for sometime: Head East on the A66 and turn right into a feeder-lane of cones and then around a one way system.  At the end of the diversion at a T junction you can go right and re-join the A6 coming through Clifton as normal, or slightly shorter you go left and take the 2nd right for Melkinthorpe, we are on this road just before the railway bridge
